Jayann Youngblood Rising Star Is One To Watch

Jayann Youngblood is a name already making waves in the high school and AAU basketball scenes.

A member of the class of 2027, she plays for Eminence High School and runs with the Indiana Sirens AAU program.

Standing tall and strong, Jayann blends a post player’s physicality with a guard’s agility, creating major matchup problems on both ends of the floor.

She plays primarily as a Small Forward/Post, wearing #23 for her school team and #5 for her AAU squad.

What separates Jayann is her ability to stretch the floor.

She loves to shoot from mid-range and beyond the arc, but she’s just as comfortable attacking the rim.

With a natural nose for the basket and a motor that doesn’t quit, she thrives in transition, flying down the court ahead of defenders.

On the block, her footwork is solid, and she can finish through contact.

She’s also a 3.6 GPA honor student and a proud member of the National Junior Honor Society, showing a commitment to excellence on and off the court.

As Jayann continues to evolve, her combination of size, athleticism, and skill set makes her a serious prospect with college-level upside.
