Gabby DeBord Controls The Glass And Protects The Rim

Gabby DeBord is a 6’3 forward in the Class of 2027 from Murfreesboro, Tennessee who competes for FBC Reign and PCA.

Her size immediately separates her from many peers in the frontcourt, giving her a natural advantage around the rim on both ends of the floor.

DeBord uses her height and wingspan to control the paint as a rebounder, interior scorer, and defensive presence.

She shows encouraging instincts around the basket, particularly when tracking rebounds and finishing second-chance opportunities.

DeBord also runs the floor well for a player with her size, allowing her to contribute to transition offense and create early scoring chances.

As she continues to gain experience against high-level competition, her confidence and physical presence continue to grow.

With her combination of size, effort, and developing skill set, DeBord projects as a forward with significant long-term potential.

Strengths:
• Excellent size at 6’3 for a developing forward prospect
• Strong rebounding ability on both offensive and defensive glass
• Uses length effectively to contest and alter shots
• Shows comfort finishing around the rim
• Runs the floor well and can score in transition situations
• Demonstrates solid hands receiving interior passes
• Shows improving awareness positioning in the paint
• Physical presence allows her to establish post position
• Plays with effort and energy around the basket

Areas to Improve:
Continued development of perimeter skills will expand DeBord’s offensive versatility.

Improving lateral mobility and strength will help her defend quicker players and battle stronger post opponents.

Developing a consistent mid-range jumper would add another dimension to her scoring profile.

Projected Role:
Gabby DeBord projects as a traditional frontcourt player who can provide rebounding, rim protection, and interior scoring.

With continued development, she has the tools to become a productive college rotation forward capable of anchoring the paint and controlling the glass.
