Destini Ligons Future Star In The Making

Destini Ligons, a 6’2 power forward from Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is already making waves as a future basketball star in the Class of 2028.

Playing for AAU team B Wright, Destini’s star quality is undeniable, and she is only scratching the surface of her immense basketball potential.

What sets Ligons apart is her dominant presence in the low post.

Once she establishes position, she’s nearly unstoppable, using her size and strength to overpower defenders.

Destini is developing a range of low-post moves, and as she refines her footwork and finishing ability, she is poised to become an unstoppable force inside the paint.

Her ability to score efficiently makes her a consistent threat down low.

In addition to her inside game, Destini is expanding her offensive repertoire by developing a reliable mid-range jumper.

Her pull-up shot from this range is becoming another weapon in her arsenal, adding to her versatility as a scorer.

She also excels at attacking the basket, unafraid of contact, and often finishes through aggressive defenders.

Defensively, Ligons is a disruptor.

She blocks shots, crashes the boards, and creates transition scoring opportunities through hustle plays, deflections, and her ability to read the game.

Her defensive instincts and work ethic make her a standout on both ends of the floor.

She is coachable, a hard worker, and has a killer instinct that sets her apart from her peers.

As college programs take notice, Destini’s future in basketball shines bright.
