Dasia Scott Brings Power Poise And Production

Dasia Scott is a 6’2 forward in the Class of 2027 who brings size, mobility, and two-way versatility to the girls basketball court for Principia High School and Mavs Elite GUAA out of St. Louis, Missouri.

She plays the game with strong physical presence while still showing fluid movement and coordination uncommon for her age and frame.

Offensively, Scott is most effective operating from the high post and short corner, where she can face up, attack off one or two dribbles, or finish through contact around the rim.

She runs the floor well in transition and consistently creates easy scoring opportunities by sprinting into early post position.

Scott shows developing touch with her mid-range jumper and has the mechanics to extend her range as she continues to refine consistency.

She is an active offensive rebounder who understands angles, timing, and second-effort scoring.

Her passing instincts continue to improve, especially when defenses collapse, allowing her to find cutters and perimeter shooters.

Defensively, she provides rim protection and rebounding impact, using her length to alter shots and clean the glass on both ends.

She communicates well on rotations and shows awareness defending ball screens and help-side actions.

Physically, Scott has a strong base and continues to add strength without sacrificing mobility.

She plays with confidence, energy, and competitiveness, embracing physical matchups while staying composed.

Her motor runs consistently, and she impacts games even when not scoring by rebounding, defending, and setting strong screens.

As she matures, her offensive skill package and overall feel for the game should continue to rise, positioning her as a high-upside frontcourt prospect in her class.

College Projection

Dasia Scott projects as a high-level Division I forward with Power Five potential as her offensive consistency and perimeter skill development continue.

Her size, rebounding, and defensive impact give her a strong college floor, with upside to become a featured frontcourt contributor.

Evaluation Summary

Scott combines size, strength, and mobility with developing offensive polish and defensive reliability.

Her feel for rebounding, interior scoring, and team concepts translates well to the college game.

Continued skill growth will unlock her full impact.
