Aniya Doughty The Versatile Guard College Programs Are Watching

Aniya Doughty is a rising basketball talent in the Class of 2027, standing at 5’9″ and attending Franklin Central High School.

She plays AAU basketball for IGB 15U Rise Epps and maintains a solid 3.2 GPA, showcasing her dedication both on and off the court.

Doughty is an up-and-coming star with a bright future.

Her game is improving daily, and she already possesses the tools necessary for stardom.

Since beginning her basketball journey in the fifth grade, she has developed into a versatile scorer, capable of putting points on the board at all three levels.

Her three-point shot is particularly deadly; defenders must guard her closely to prevent her from dominating from beyond the arc.

Her mid-range game is nearly unstoppable, and she’s equally effective driving to the basket, unafraid of contact and able to finish strong.

Doughty’s ball-handling skills are a significant asset.

Recently, she has been playing more as a point guard, a role in which she has excelled.

Her ability to bring the ball up the floor under pressure, control the tempo, and create scoring opportunities makes her a valuable asset to any team.

Aniya’s work ethic is unmatched, and her high basketball IQ is evident in her play.

She’s a fierce defender, relentless in her hustle, and capable of igniting her team on both ends of the floor.

Doughty is a composed leader who maintains intensity throughout the game, making great decisions and setting the pace.

With a massive upside, college programs should keep her on their radar as she continues to develop into a player around whom they can build their program.
