Why Your Recruiting Service?

We Need More College Scouts

Think deep and be honest with yourself. Why would anyone use your recruiting service over one of your competitors?

Develop a list of five to 10 major points on why parents of student-athletes would sign up with your recruiting service over another.

I believe it’s always important to list of benefits and values of your recruiting service.

What are your strong points?

What are things you want the parents and the student-athletes to know?

This information should be listed on your website. It should be easy for them to find. Maybe it’s on your homepage and something they can click on like the headline where they can read information regarding your strong points.

I thought I would give a few examples of the headlines. As far as the body of the content, that will be up to your creative imagination.

3 ways student-athletes can benefit in the recruiting process.

  • Take a close look at the division one programs in our network.
  • Get an inside look at the audit process.
  • Take a better look at the Athletic Profile.

Be creative, be different. Open your imagination with a greater description of the benefits and the values you have to offer.

I believe the parents will want to go with the recruiting service because they are confident you can get their son or daughter recruited, get them the exposure, and ultimately get them placed in college.

For good or bad, thousands of recruiting services exists. What are you going to do to stand out from all the confusion?

One last idea I want to share. Show all the student-athletes that you’ve signed up and show exactly what college they were placed in. The parents and the student-athletes go by what they see.

I’d really like to know what you think about this topic. Please leave a comment in the Comment section below. Your comments are the oxygen I need to grow.
