BREAKING: Ben Roethlisberger’s Suspension Reduced To 4 Games

According to the AP, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has reduced Pittsburgh Steelers‘ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s suspension from 6 to 4 games.

Roethlisberger was suspended in April for violating the league’s conduct policy (he was accused of sexual assault twice in a very short time frame), but at the time, Goodell said he would review Roethlisberger’s suspension in a few months.

The Pittsburgh Steelers‘ star quarterback met with Goodell early Friday and was told he could return on Oct. 17 against Cleveland.

“You have told me and the Steelers that you are committed to making better decisions,” Goodell said in a letter to Roethlisberger. “Your actions over the past several months have been consistent with that promise and you must continue to honor that commitment.”
