Let the “Beckham to Own New York Cosmos” rumors fly yet again. It is no secret that David Beckham has an option to own and operate a club in MLS at the end of his contract, with a state preference for New York or Miami.

Video: Stars’ Crawford enraged after loss to the Hawks
Dallas Stars coach Marc Crawford was fuming following the Hawks’ 5-3 victory over his team Wednesday night at the United Center.
In the waning seconds, defenseman Brent Seabrook fell during a Stars rush, and his stick was propelled at defenseman Trevor Daley.
Crawford thought Seabrook threw his stick at Daley, which would result in a penalty shot. No penalty was called. He confronted referees Dave Jackson and Dean Morton afterward.
Here is the video of Crawford’s comments and the play in question (from the Defending Big D blog):
Here is what Seabrook had to say:
“I was sort of flat-footed and caught an edge. Stick just came out when I hit the ice. I think the ref realized that. It could have been a penalty. It would have been a tough one.”
And Hawks coach Joel Quenneville:
“You look at it and it’s a play and he fell so hard you could argue what his intent was. He fell so hard you’re extending your stick and I don’t think he intended to do what they were thinking. You could argue that, and it’s tough to prove. It’s instincts by the referee and knowing [Seabrook], I don’t think that was the intent, although it might look a little different.”
Bmore Nerdy: Stars, Stripes & Hydra: New Images From CAPTAIN AMERICA
Coming off of last week’s debut in Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios has released a new series of high resolution stills from Captain America: The First Avenger, and I have to say, they look really great!
Chris Evans is almost unrecognizable as Steve Rogers, the solider who would be Cap, and that one image of him from behind, with the shield? That is downright perfect!
Also of note is our look at Hugo Weaving as a pre-skulled Red Skull, and some angry looking Hydra Soldiers on motorcycles.
Either way, I’m starting to get very excited for this film. At the least, it should be a substantial upgrade on the direct to TV movie from the early 90s.
What are your thoughts on Captain America so far? Let me know in the comments!
Captain America: The First Avenger hits theaters on July 22nd, 2011.

Carlos Tevez Stars In Bizarre Pepsi Commercial: Video
Every once in a while I come across something so bizarre that I have to share it with you. This time it’s a strange Pepsi TV commercial featuring Carlos Tevez (or should I say Sir Charles Tevez?).
I’m not sure which is more surreal.. Carlos Tevez’s awful English or his partner who is at the podium with him.
Tip of the hat to ONTD Football for uncovering this gem.
