Saban got angry at me last season for asking about the team’s Thanksgiving plans. He thought I was second-guessing his decision to let the players go home. I wasn’t, but he was in a mood that week.

Anyway, he didn’t like the question and called me back into his office after the press conference (which happened a few times) and lit me up pretty good (which actually usually didn’t happen in those settings).
