Chandler Rogers High School Football Recruit

Chandler Rogers 6’3 197lbs.  Quarterback

Brookhaven Academy Brookhaven, Mississippi

What can you do? Can you really play ball? Tell me what you can do as a ball player? I am a smart intelligent quarterback that makes good decisions, studies the game and puts in countless hours to get better.  I know that in my heart that I can not only play at a D1 level, but contribute and make any team that I play for better.

What has been your greatness success–either in sports or in life? First and foremost the greatest success in my life is accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  Other successful attributes includes being the winning quarterback at the Badger 7 on 7 Competition in Tuscaloosa, AL, being named the Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year and being named to the All-American First Team for the National Private School Athletic Association as well as being named the National QB of the Year for the National Private School Athletic Association.

How has your sports helped you in your life? Sports have not only taught me about the game of football, but about the game of life as well. I feel that I am a very strong leader and my leadership on and off of the field will help me to succeed throughout my journey of life. My Christian witness is the quality in myself I am most proud of. Without my God, my life would not be complete. I connect well with my teammates and my coaches, and I always give one hundred percent to them and to myself. My discipline and commitment to myself, my team, and my God are my keys to a successful career. After graduating in 2011, I plan to attend college not only to play football but to obtain a bachelor’s degree in psychology. I then plan to further my education by attending medical school with plans of becoming a psychiatrist. I am now ranked eighth in my graduating class and feel that I have a very strong work ethic. This will propel me to the top academically and athletically. I am so very thankful for the support I have been given from my family, friends, coaches, and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

What are your strengths? Intelligent player
Strong throwing arm
Good vision of entire field
Good foot speed
Quick release

Areas for improvement? Improving my arm strength.

When you’re not playing your sport what do you like to do for fun? Spending time hunting and fishing and playing basketball.

What are some of your goals? To obtain my degree in Psychology and go to medical school and play football at a major D1 college.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I would love to see myself playing on Sundays in the NFL.
