Pat Ahearne

Recruiting Director,  New York City

Pat Ahearne knows the path of the student-athlete having been recruited for baseball to a Junior College and later to Division I. He played for Los Angeles Harbor Junior College helping them win the California JC Baseball Championship as a starting pitcher. After his sophomore year, he went on to Pepperdine University where the Waves won the College World Series his senior year.

Pat also played 17 seasons of professional baseball with Major League time with the Detroit Tigers. He also has international playing experience in Australia, Taiwan, Venezuela, and with several teams in Europe.

Prior to joining Woods Recruiting, Pat was the pitching coach for the Czech Junior and Senior National Team and then for the Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
