Organized Planning: The Crystallization Of Desire Into Action!
Al Woods The Voice Of Recruiting
You need a strategy, a structure, a road map, and a blueprint which are all necessary components for College Scouts and recruiting services.
Most importantly, for your overall success, you just can’t make it up as you see fit. Where’s the strategy? Where’s your blueprint? The lack of organized planning will result in failure.
Strategies must be written down, not random thoughts bouncing around in your head like a bunch of ping pong balls.
I read a great deal and one of my all-time favorite books is: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
What you’ve listened to in this podcast comes from chapter seven: Organized Planning: The Crystallization of Desire Into Action. In my opinion, this is one of the best business books of all time! A must read!
I hate to see failure among Scouts and recruiting services because the student-athletes will suffer.
The parents of these amazing athletes will make mistakes with recruiting.
They’re going to accept bad advice, follow the wrong solutions and, in the process, waste months of valuable time.
College Scouts can be an amazing asset and, unfortunately, some do not take their craft seriously.
You’re successful or maybe you’re a failure possibly. You’re struggling, maybe you’re not. I don’t know where you come out on the end of this.
I’m extremely curious and inquisitive to understand where you are with your recruiting service or your role as a College Scout.

Sometimes the struggle is related to adjusting to the techniques or a better strategy.
How can you improve on your numbers? Are you happy with the results?
The more student-athletes you sign up and place in college, the more it will help you grow to long-term greater heights.
