All-Region Honorable Mention

Jace Sheppard is a three year varsity performer; a multi-sport student athlete in the 2017 class at Dobson High School in Mesa, AZ. Jace is a player with a deadly combination of size, speed and strength who dominates his opponent. He uses his superior size to his advantage.

He can out-jump defensive backs for 50/50 balls or shield defenders on slant routes in goal line situations. Whether he plays TE or line up out wide, Jace is a match-up nightmare.

He has great hands, runs precise routes, and has the speed to get in the open field. When asked about his downfield blocking, one of his offensive coaches simply said, “He is one of the best players I have been around.” He also comes back to ball and makes plays for his quarterback in tough third down situations.

Jace is a passionate leader with a love for the game most of his peers don’t have. A true leader on and off the field he has the ability and desire to play at the next level.

The multi Offensive Player of the Week in 2016, Jace performed well at the AZFCA Combine in Phoenix in front of several college programs.

Jace is a coachable student athlete who is just as serious about the classroom as he is about the gridiron. Jace carries a high GPA and will be an asset to any college program.
