Emily Madzelan works endlessly to improve herself as an athlete and as a student. She dedicates a ceaseless number of hours outside of practice time to improve her skill work and participates in PowerTrain to become an even more explosive athlete. Emily reveals her strength every time she steps into the batter’s box. She is a right-handed batter that attacks pitches early in the count.

Her aggressive swing reaches speeds up to 54 MPH with good extension through the strike zone, her bat exit speed stretches to 56 MPH. She has a remarkable ability to maintain control over her at bats by consistently connecting with a variety of pitches.

In addition to her lengthy arm span, Emily is a wall at first base with a fearless ability to stop anything thrown at her. She is also experienced on the left side of the field as a short stop. Emily reads the ball off the bat well and promptly communicates with her teammates.

She has a strong throw with an overhand velocity of 52 MPH. Emily is as eager to learn in the classroom as she is on the ball field.

Attending Central York High School she is part of the 2020 graduating class and maintains a 3.63 GPA while being actively involved in extracurricular activities. Emily’s versatility and perseverance to learn pushes her to achieve her goals.
