The Al Woods, Woods Recruiting Network
I live on the Internet. I network with high school student athletes, their parents, high school and college coaches and people who just enjoy sports. This is a list of places you can find me on the Internet:
Woods Recruiting: This is where I blog about the college recruiting process; offering tips on how to get recruited for college along with my opinions about the college recruiting process. Also on this blog I write about high school student athletes who are looking to play at the next level. I write reviews about sports businesses that sell athletic gear and products and from time to time I will include other types of business reviews.
Woods Recruiting On Tumblr: On this blog I share motivational quotes that can help student athletes and parents deal with the sometime difficulty of the college recruiting process. I also write about sports companies that sell athletic gear and products.
I Am Al Woods: I write about the college recruiting process, my thoughts and opinions on how it should go and anything that can be helpful to parents who have to deal with the college recruiting process.
Athletic Profile: This is a blog where there are many videos of high school student athletes in game action.
Elite Buzz: Is our blog where we will only focus on sports companies that sell athletic products and services. We write reviews, our thoughts and opinions about these companies with our goal being to try to bring more exposure to some of these companies you may not have heard of.
Facebook: This is my home away from home where I network with the world. Everyone is on Facebook and I’m building strong relationships with many different people from diverse backgrounds, from all over the world. It’s an exciting place for me to post quotes or information from all of my different blogs so let’s be friends on Facebook today!
Facebook Fan Page @ Woods Recruiting: On this page I talk about high school athletes and give recruiting information and tips.
Twitter: Where I find information that’s going on in a split second. Whatever is happening in the sports world, I generally hear it from Twitter first. It’s also a great place to network with high school student athletes, parents, high school coaches, college coaches and anyone who is involved in sports at any level.
Twitter list @ Woods Recruiting: My Twitter list that’s mainly focused on individuals who are involved with sports. They could be coaches, parents, ball players, sports motivational speakers or just about anyone who’s involved in sports.
Google Plus: Is a great place to network where I can post a lot of information along with videos to my growing list of followers.
YouTube: I offer college recruiting tips. This is a great place for me because I can take whatever I’ve recorded and post it on all my networks.
Friend Feed: This is an outstanding networking tool that connects many of my social networks.
The Al Woods Show On Blog Talk Radio: From time to time, I like to do interviews with high school student athletes and college coaches. I have interviewed over 100 college coaches since 2008 when I began my radio show. I will be highlighting sports companies to bring more attention to these outstanding companies and what they are about.
Newsletter: In my weekly newsletter, I publish exclusive college recruiting tips and information. I also talk about the steps and the process that is required to be a college recruiter. The list is exclusive because you have to subscribe to become a member, (it’s free.) The newsletter, to me, is an outlet for me to be able to offer important college recruiting information to parents of high school student athletes who have the power to implement the strategies.
My Phone Number: I generally do not give out my phone number or post it anywhere online if I did I would be inundated with phone calls. If you have a question about recruiting or anything pertaining to what I do just send me an email or connect with me on any of my other networks. I will be more than happy to talk with you about recruiting or blogging about anything related to sports.
Full disclosure: My experience is based on more than 20 years as a college recruiter where parents paid me a fee so I could get their sons and daughters recruited and placed in college.
I work with high school student athletes and parents all over the country. For me, personally, it was time to go in a different direction so I decided several years ago to focus on blogging about the college recruiting process.
I’m also in the process of completing several books on how to get recruited for college and how to be a college recruiter.
Any books or reports that I offer will be for a fee. I feel that knowledge is power and because of the many thousands of hours and phone conversations with parents and college coaches about every single aspect you could think of related to recruiting, I feel I have enough knowledge and information to share with parents and student athletes.
In addition to my books are reports that I offer for a fee. I will also write reviews on sports products and athletic gear. These will be affiliate products with links back to the company’s website.
