Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow and upright stance with a high hand set at the plate. Sound swing mechanics in the box with a direct path, shifts weight well and on time through lower half in swing. Orlando’s athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows light actions on feet and moves well to the ball while working behind it, controls body well charging in, extra step prior to release but shows solid arm strength across the diamond from a higher slot, shows carry and projects well moving forward. Left-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and open stance with high hand set and back elbow at the plate.

Simple trigger and does a nice job of getting closed prior to point of contact. Stays short with path to ball and shows overall looseness to swing plane and hands. Occasional leverage when extended out front and squared off barrel, comfort hitting to pull side and tools, will continue to improve with added strength. Excellent student.
