Avery Whitaker, a 5’11” standout from Waynesville High School, Ohio, is making waves in the basketball world as part of the Class of 2025. 

Whitaker, who plays AAU basketball for the WPA Bruins UAA, is known for her versatility, exceptional skills, and relentless hustle on the court. 

Boasting a solid 3.4 GPA, Avery not only excels athletically but also academically.

From a young age, Avery has demonstrated her ability to play multiple positions, showcasing her great size, ball-handling skills, and shooting prowess. 

As a varsity player since her freshman year, she has accumulated numerous accolades, solidifying her reputation as an up-and-coming talent. Avery’s offensive capabilities are impressive; she can shoot accurately from three-point range, maintain a strong mid-range game, and drive to the basket with ease. 

Her scoring ability from virtually any spot on the court makes her a constant threat.

Defensively, Avery is a force to be reckoned with. She plays with aggression, shuts down opponents, and consistently out-rebounds her competition. 

Her coaches have often described her as a Swiss Army knife due to her ability to contribute in various aspects of the game. 

She makes great passes, handles the ball with precision, and rarely makes mistakes, displaying excellent decision-making skills.
