great web site!!………is it me or does it seem the game has gotten to be a " big business" monster that thrives on potentential instead of substance..I guess I'm old school and just because a kid has a killer crossover or can dunk from the free throw line doesn't make him the" next big thing". To me boxing out, making free throws and a 3.0 or above grade point average are just as important……just a thought
Outstanding comment. The word potential is often over use when describing a student athlete who has great athletic ability. I think it can be dangerous to label a student athlete is such a manner. Putting that much pressure on a student athlete could do more harm than good.
