The Crimson Tide stands on the cusp of game week with as many positional questions as it has had under Saban. While preseason position changes are common under Saban, they’ve usually slowed by now.

Sounds like the coaching staff still has a lot of decisions to make. Fortunately, with San Jose State in the opener instead of another big non-conference showdown at a neutral site, for now they’ve got time on their side.
