You’ve heard about Brett Favre re-affirming his dedication to football, and last night, you saw the Vikings’ dedication to protecting their investment.
Yes, Favre did play in last night’s preseason contest against the 49ers – barely. He got in the game for one series, finishing a robust 1-1 passing on a short heave to Adrian Peterson. He also handed it off a couple times, and got sacked for a 10-yard loss. The 49ers might not be the Saints, but they seemed to enjoy hitting Favre all the same.
The 49ers won the game 15-10 if you care about that sort of thing, which you don’t because it’s the preseason. Video of Favre’s series of action is below. Not the highest quality, but it does include him getting knocked to the ground pretty hard on that sack (at 1:30 of the clip), and if Favre’s waffling wore you out, it’s probably what you’re most interested in seeing from his appearance.
